(Orden der Eisernen Krone 1. Klasse mit Kriegsdekoration und Schwerter). Instituted in 1815 by Emperor Franz I. Post 1945 Manufacture. Rothe Copy. A multiple ray eight-pointed star in silver, obverse centre featuring a superposed Iron Crown with enameled details in silver gilt, surrounded by an enameled blue border with the gilded inscription AVITA ET AUCTA, as well as by an outsider green enameled laurel wreath denoting II Class War Decoration, also presenting silver swords, affixed by 2 rivets each, reverse with principal pin assembly, measuring 86.70 mm (w) x 87.18 mm (h), with tarnished silver, otherwise fine condition.
